Exercise Your Way To Good Health
By Mark Christian Walters
There have been numerous studies how exercise can affect our lifestyle. When we exercise, not only we'll get that much needed energy to survive our day to day activities, it also promotes better blood flow through the body and brain. Psychologically, it can also be empowering, and it will make us feel better. Exercise can also help improve mood and help battle depression, stress, and anxiety.
Aside from the many benefits that of this activity, a regular exercise can help protect you from heart disease and stroke, high blood pressure, noninsulin-dependent diabetes, obesity, back pain, and osteoporosis.

For the greatest overall health benefits, experts recommend that we do 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic activity three or more times a week and some type of muscle strengthening activity and stretching at least twice a week. However, if you are unable to do this level of activity, you can gain substantial health benefits by accumulating 30 minutes or more of moderate-intensity

physical activity a day, at least five times a week.

If you have been inactive for a while, you may want to start with less strenuous activities such as walking or swimming at a comfortable pace. Beginning at a slow pace will allow you to become physically fit without straining your body. Once you are in better shape, you can gradually do more strenuous activity.

Many people believe that only vigorous exercise or playing sport counts as healthy activity. Yet substantial health benefits can be achieved from regular activity without the need for special equipment, sporting ability, or getting very hot and sweaty.

When you do moderate intensity activity, your breathing and heart rate will increase and you will feel warm. Moderate intensity physical activity, such as brisk walking, painting, hovering and mowing the lawn, all count and are enough to benefit health and prevent illness.
